We admire any ambitious person who aspires to help the community at large and the Arts Program in general.
Especially now, we certainly admire some of our past students who have moved on to college and doing well as professionals
in dance or in whatever field they have chosen. Two of which are Stephanie Sutherland who has traveled to Italy
to take part in the" West Side Story " and to INDIA where she danced with her us company. Alexander Mitchell,13 years old
, has just finished his role of TRAVIS in the Broadway Play" A Raisin In The Sun. He also starred as Simba
in " The Lion King" and as Percy in "The Miracle Worker" He did a voice- over as "Freddie, the Shark". Alex performed
at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC and in Delaware as Billy Ray Jr. in the play ON GOLDEN POND with Mr. James Earl Jones
and Ms. Leslie Uggams. Look for him in the up-coming ming movie "Into The Fire" and in an episode in "The Sopranos".
Presently, he is enjoying his school life, doing HOME WORK, TAKING PART IN TRACK AND LONG JUMP, socializing with
some of his FRIENDS, drawing his anime figures and getting into trouble with his 8 year old brother, Christopher.
Let's not forget that he takes HIPHOP lessons at the studio on Thursdays. (picture above)
