Our Mission
To provide professional music education and encourage all students to use their God given talents
to reach their goals and aspirations. Dance and piano instruction is as important to the student as any other subject
is. Dance provides a breather from the stress and concerns of everyday life and each and every student needs that change
of pace. Playing the piano can be relaxing and refreshing,,, why not learn.
To do this successfully , we must have rules and guidelines which must be followed by each and every student with the
cooperation of all parents. Discipline is the key to success. Students must be on time for classes, call when there is a
reason to be absent, be dressed in the dress code and obey instructions to the letter. Parents must pay tuition on time and
respect the instructor's decision to place student in the correct class.
Our History
Mitchell Performing Arts Center has been in Business for twenty-seven years , being the Sharon Mitchell Dance Studio
for fifteen. We have done demonstrations, promoted Shows and recommended students for teaching if they show the ability
and seriousness to do so We have not failed so far in our judgements of students.. While they have the ability
of free will they are guided into doing what's best for them. A clean atmosphere is provided for their nurturing
and learning experience. A frienbdly atmosphere is there for their social skills. A professional atmosphere is there for their
own excitement. MPAC is PEACEFUL, LOVING and filled with GOOD MUSIC..
